Manifesto

1. Think Long Term. We play the long game. We take positions in where the world is heading and compound our capabilities. AI for work productivity. Programmatic research and trading for scalable alpha. Stablecoins for commerce and corporate treasuries.
2. Independent. We can make decisions without asking anyone for permission. We can say no to work that doesn't align with our values.
3. High Competency, Small Teams. You can win big with small teams. We keep coordination and overhead costs low and set the bar high for skills and character. Being in a team with high standards is more inspiring.
4. Lifestyle-First, Holistically Ambitious. We design work to fit our lives, not the other way round. We are ambitious in both business and life. We work in focused sprints, rest strategically, and build resilience to last.
5. Profit Driven. We focus on generating profits over chasing vanity growth. We make more than what we spend, staying sustainable and reliable for our long-term customers.
6. No ASAP Culture. Context switching kills productivity. We work with clear priorities and realistic timelines. When everything is urgent, nothing is. We'll communicate what we can deliver and when, honestly.
7. Championing SMEs. We serve the SME market: overlooked, underserved, undervalued. We are here for them with all the tools at our disposal.
8. Meetings Are Costly. Your time is valuable. Our time is valuable. Every meeting needs a clear purpose and outcome. We'll suggest the most efficient format: a call, in-person, or a well-written update.
9. Antifragile by Design. Events that might just kill you are the ones that only make you stronger. We build resilience, avoid single points of failure, and stress test our business.
10. What is in our name. Latent is a riff on two concepts: latency (the time delay in high-frequency trading) and latent space (compressed representation of complex data). This direction is where we want to explore toward.
